An Indian gold-inlaid kard from the first half of the 19th century.

Heavy blade of beautifully figured wootz-Damascus with floral designs inlaid in gold at the base.

It has a gold inlaid wootz-Damascus grip strap with riveted ivory grip scales and a velvet-covered wooden scabbard with gilt silver locket and chape.

Kard indiano com embutidos a ouro da primeira metade do séc. XIX.

Lâmina pesada de bela forma em aço damasquinado (Wootz) com desenhos florais embutidos a ouro na base.

A parte interior do punho é embutida a ouro em aço damasquinado (Wootz) com acabamento em marfim rebitado. A bainha em madeira revestida a veludo e boca e ponta em prata dourada.
