Lenght: 76 cm. Blade crescent: 36 cm.

Axe from the Chota Nagpur region in Central Eastern India, of non-Aryan and Aboriginal tribes, as well as from the Andaman isles.

These tribes usually employed more rudimentary and rudely made weapons, though never neglecting their functional aspect. This axe is a good example of this type of weapon.

Solid iron crescent blade, firmly attached to the staff.

Machado, proveniente da região do planalto Chota Nagpur na Índia Central e Oriental, de tribos não Arianas e Aborígenes, assim como das ilhas Andaman.

Normalmente usando estas tribos armas mais rudimentares e de construção mais rude, sem contudo descurarem o seu aspecto funcional, este machado é um bom exemplo deste tipo de armas.

Sólida lâmina em ferro com a forma de crescente, firmemente fixada ao cabo.
