18th century Dhal, originating in India (Rajahstan), of very high quality and large diameter bearing its original lining.
This damascene steel Dhal, profusely decorated with gold inlays (Koftghari), showing in its centre the anthropomorphic shape of the radiant sun, symbol of the court of Mewar (Udaipur, Rajahstan). Around this sun and over the four buttons where hoops are fastened, there are vegetable motifs, beyond which there is a large strip with birds and other animals. Original lining.

Dhal do séc. XVIII, proveniente da Índia (Rajastão), de altíssima qualidade e grande diâmetro sendo ainda portador do seu forro original. Este Dhal em aço damasquinado, profusamente trabalhado com embutidos em ouro (Koftghari), representando no seu centro a forma antropomórfica do sol radiante,insígnia da corte de Mewar (Udaipur, Rajastão) em volta deste e sobre os quatro botões de prisão das argolas, motivos vegetalistas, aos quais se segue uma larga faixa com animais e aves. Forro original.
