Full lenght: 90 cm. Blade lenght: 78 cm.

A gold-inlaid Indian sosunpattah, with a typically curved single-edged wootz-Damascus blade with a broad double-edged point. Two open and two filled holes at the base of the blade. Iron knuckle-bow hilt with geometric gold inlays and a gilt pommel finial. A Sanskrit inscription inlaid on the inside of the knuckle-bow. Inlays are worn in places.

Sosunpattah indiana embutida a ouro, com lâmina de um gume tipicamente curvada em aço damasquinado (Wootz), com uma ponta larga de dois gumes. Dois buracos abertos e dois fechados na base da lâmina. Punho com guarda de mão em ferro com embutidos geométricos em ouro e um acabamento do pomo em dourado. Inscrição em sânscrito no interior da guarda de mão. Os embutidos estão gastos em alguns sítios.
