The Bichawa, is an Indian dagger with a blade whose shape dates back to ancient times, with a double edge it is curved in the shape of a scorpion's (bichawa) sting .

This particular piece follows the general defining characteristics, having a "Yali" hilt made of brass. The "Yali" is a creature of the Indian mythology, specialy of the region of Tanjore - Southern India.

A Bichawa, é uma adaga Indiana, cuja lâmina tem uma forma que vem de tempos recuados, com duplo gume e recurvada em forma de ferrão de escorpião (bichawa).

Esta adaga em particular , segue as características gerais, tendo um punho em latão representando um "Yali" figura mitológica Indiana, especialmente da região de Tanjore - Índia do Sul.
